Oops. Somehow two months went by and I didn't even realize! That means double the fun finds to be shared.

Okay, I am a huge advocate for making your own nut and seed butters if you can. And I do. Almond, sunflower, cashew, coconut. You can find all of these in mason jars made right in my kitchen. But the one nut butter I just can't NOT buy is the Whole Food 365 brand's natural crunchy peanut butter. Has anyone else tried this?! The little salty kick just keeps me coming back jar after jar. If you can only afford one nut butter, go for this one. Although it has a salt, its a natural butter, meaning the only other ingredient is peanuts. I store it upside down in my fridge to slow separation of oils.

If there's one thing I've learned from my food studies, it's that canola oil is a no-go when it comes to what I'm putting in my body. Unfortunately, a lot of everyday products we buy have it because its cheaper for companies to use than olive (or other) oils. This results in me making a lot of my own dips and spreads. However, when you're short on time, it's important to know what brands you can reach for at the grocery store that meet your specific needs. For me, hummus is a staple in my diet, and I it is amazing to know Sunflower Kitchen's hummus doesn't contain any canola oil!

This woman, and all the others behind HB Face, are brow wizards. I am terrified of getting my brows done—10 years ago, I had a traumatic experience where I barely had any brows left. I've let one professional touch them since. This was when I was living in New York. It's been a year since I left, and I haven't had my brows done. I somehow worked up the courage to go to HB Face after seeing so many gorgeous brows on their Insta page. I went the other week, and instead of being stressy and sweating (like I normally am), I was SO relaxed and felt right at home. During my appointment I not only received some of the best looking brows, but I also got complimentary eye and lip masks, as well as spritz of rose water and a little lip gloss. Obvi this is now my new go-to spot.

The name says it all: Probiotic coconut yogurt that people on Insta literally lust for. And I was one. However, Coconut Cult isn't sold in Canada. So on my recent trip to the US, I stocked up. This effervescent yog is sour and tangy, and offers 25 billion probiotics per serving. Ya, that's a ton. And your bod may not be used to getting that much fermented goodness, so start small with your servings (1-2 spoonfuls). This isn't any ordinary yogurt! After 3 weeks of regular eating, I'm addicted to the flavour and cannot wait for my daily dose of goodness.

I have a shorts problem. I hate them. They always ride up my legs. I get an uncomfortable front-wedgie thing. My thighs chafe. Like I said, not a fun experience. But, I finally found a pair(s) that worked. It's about time—I've only been searching for 10 years! These high-rise denim shorts from Madewell are everything I've ever needed in a short. The high-rise is super high, so I can fit my waist, and the rest of the short hangs from my hips, so I don't have to go up a size to fit my thighs. The 4" inseam means there's enough jean short down my thighs so I can walk in comfort. My summer wardrobe is forever changed.

And because I just love these for all of the above reasons + overalls (so, duh!).

Some people check out museums on vacay, I check out grocery stores. This gem of a shop is natural through and through. There are tons of products from some of my fav brands (hey, Hu Kichen and Simple Mills), as well as local finds you can't get anywhere else. It's large enough for a weekly haul, but small enough to feel like you know everyone working there and shopping around. Plus, The Beet Café (a connected juice counter, beer and bevvie service, and toast and sandwich bar) serves up the most fresh and delicious plates.

This may not be new to you, but it's new to me. Actually, the entire CBD thing is new to me. But I tried this water, and it was refreshing, plus I noticed no negative side effects. I don't know how much CBD you have to take (or for how long you constantly have to take it) to notice results, but I do know that this was delish!

Did a little makeover to the corner of my room and started to incorporate all different types of plants. I'll post something soon on how to take care of specific indoor plants, but for now, these help me relax and give my room some much needed life. You'll have to sift through quite a few trays at Ikea to find plants that look good/aren't broken since there are so many people constantly coming through and rummaging for plants. But if you find a few that look happy, it's an inexpensive way to give any room a little facelift.

My new go-to smoothie addition. I've been blending up spinach for a long time, sometimes it's frozen and sometimes it's fresh. But it has never been so easy. This spinach is pre-portioned and compact. No more leaves flying everywhere or eyeballing amounts. Anything that makes my morning routine easier is a win!
